Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which the School collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “Student”, "User") of the School. This Privacy Policy applies to the School and all Courses and Services offered by the School. In addition to this Privacy Policy, your Privacy will be processed according to Viima's general Privacy Policy ("Viima General Privacy Policy", "General Policy") as detailed in http://viima.com/privacy. Should there be conflicting terms or information between the General Policy and this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy will prevail.


Personal identification information

We may collect personal identification information from Students in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Students enroll in the School or a Course within the School, subscribe to a newsletter, and in connection with other activities, services, features, or resources we make available in our School. Students may visit the School anonymously, but this may make it impossible to provide access to parts, or all, of the Services. We will collect personal identification information from Students only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Students can refuse to supply personal identification information but doing so may prevent them from engaging in certain School related services and activities, including access to it.


The information we collect

The information we collect depends on your use of the Services. The information we generally collect from Users includes the following:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Employer and job title
  • IP-address and other possible user analytics information

However, you may also be asked for and choose to provide us with additional information to allow us provide you with more personalised services or access to additional services.


How we use collected information

The School may collect and use Students’ personal identification information for the following purposes:

  • To provide you with services: Information you provide helps us provide you with the full experience and access to all content and services (incl. customer service where applicable) offered by the School.
  • To improve the service: Information you provide helps us respond to your customer service requests and support needs more efficiently, as well as develop and improve the service to provide more value for users.
  • To improve and personalize services and user experience: We may use information, usually in the aggregate, to understand how our Students use the services and resources provided in our School to develop, improve and personalize the Services we provide.
  • To contact you and send periodic emails: We may use Student email addresses to send Students information and updates pertaining to their order or provide certain parts of the services offered. Student email addresses may also be used to respond to Student inquiries, questions, or other requests, or simply to ask for feedback.

You maintain privileges to your own data according to current legislation in force, for example GDPR, and can exercise your rights in this regard. For more information, and instructions on how to do that, please refer to Viima General Privacy Policy.


Sharing your personal information

We do not sell, trade, or rent Student personal identification information to others. If you have used a discount or affiliate code provided by a third-party, such as a partner or customer of Viima, to gain access to the service at a discount, or for free, we may share your personal information to that specific party for the purposes of providing the service or parts of it, providing reporting and analytics on the Users using said codes, or for improving and further developing the service or Viima's collaboration with said party. In addition, we may share your personal information with our suppliers and sub-processors for the purposes of providing the Services.


Use of suppliers and sub-processors

To provide you with the Services, we use a number of select suppliers and sub-processors, which may get access to your personal information depending on how you use the Services. By using the Services, you accept us transferring your personal information to these sub-processors, some of which may include international data transfers. We commit to keeping your information secure and private, and have taken measures together with each sub-processor, to achieve these goals. These measures are explained in more detail in the General Policy. Below is a list of current sub-processors used, their country of origin (or if disclosed, country of processing), and the purpose of said processing.

  • Teachable, Inc. USA. Course platform.
  • HubSpot, Inc. USA. Customer registry and forms used on the Course platform.
  • Amazon Web Services, Inc. Ireland. Value added services on the Course platform, such as innovation maturity test and peer matchmaking.
  • Stripe, Inc. USA. Payment processing related to the Course Platform.
  • Microsoft, Inc. USA. Email and productivity software used by Viima to provide customer service and respond to potential requests.
  • Google, Inc. USA. Analytics on the use of the Course platform.


Third party websites

Student may find advertising or other content in our School that link to the websites and services of our partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors, licensors and other third parties. We do not control the content or links that appear on these websites and are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from our School. In addition, these websites or services, including their content and links, may be constantly changing. These websites and services may have their own privacy policies and customer service policies. Browsing and interaction on any other website, including websites which have a link to our Student, is subject to that website's own terms and policies.


Changes to this Privacy Policy

The School has the discretion to update this Privacy Policy at any time. We encourage Students to frequently check this page for any changes. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this Privacy Policy periodically and become aware of modifications.


Your acceptance of these terms

By enrolling in the School, you signify your acceptance of this Privacy Policy and Viima General Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these two Privacy Policies, please do not enroll in the School. Your continued enrollment in the School following the posting of changes to these Privacy Policies will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
